About this presentation

An enduring vision of TASH is a society where homes, schools, communities and work places effectively include individuals with severe disabilities. This webinar will focus on the role of Multi-tiered systems of support as a policy and intervention approach that works toward this vision. The content will build from experience implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). This session will frame the PBS webinar series and place each of the subsequent topics into the context of PBS planning. Participants should leave with the ability to define multi-tiered systems of behavior support, and the role of parents, teachers, administrators or advocates in fostering effective implementation of multi-tiered supports.

About the presenter

Rob Horner is a professor of special education at the University of Oregon, a former editor of the TASH’s journal, Research and Practice for Persons with Severe Disabilities, and the co-director of the Office of Special Education Programs, Technical Assistance Center on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.
