2024 TASH Conference: Volunteer Application Form

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 2024 TASH Conference on December 5 - December 7, 2024. This year's Conference will be in-person at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana. Volunteering is a great way to actively participate while offsetting some of the full conference registration fee. Submission for volunteering is open on Thursday, August 1 through Friday, September 20, 2024.

There are several volunteer opportunities available. Our hope is to align our volunteer's skills with the greatest needs during the conference. Volunteers are eligible to receive $150 off the full Conference registration rate in exchange for 10 hours of service during the Conference. Because of the number of volunteer hours required, a one-day pass is not an option.

Volunteer Eligibility:

Must be a current TASH member to be eligible to receive the discount. If you are not already, you can become a member at tash.org/join.
Volunteers must be able to fulfill 10 service hours during the Conference between December 5 - December 7, 2024
Volunteers must register and pay the discounted conference registration fee no later than Thursday, November 7, 2024

Volunteer Requirements *Volunteers must give 10 hours of service in exchanged for the discounted full registration rate and must be current TASH members.
Choose a Volunteer Position *1. Registration Desk Duties: Welcome attendees, check in registrants, distribute name badges/lanyards, provide general directions, answer basic questions Skills: Good people and organizational skills 2. Information Desk Duties: Greet attendees, answer general questions, assist attendees with their individual schedules (SCHED) and mobile APP, provide general directions Skills: Good people, technical, and Smartphone skills 3. Hall/Room Monitors Duties: Greet, direct attendees to meeting rooms, close doors at start of each session, give 5 minute warning, open doors at the end of each session, and refresh rooms between sessions Skills: Good people and time management skills 4. Pre-Conference (bag stuffing) Conference bags stuffing (various postcards, and other supplies to be placed in bags). 5. Signage Delivery/Exchange Signage to place updated inserts by session rooms. 6. TASH Membership Center Assisting members with questions. 7. Silent Auction Assist with attendees completing form, making sure area is organized.
